《咔》攝影文化誌是一本為了展示和分析攝影及影像獨特的表達功能及文化，而出現的一本雜誌，希望能在大眾所認知的攝影的盲點中搜集出獨特的影像及有質素的創作，對其進行多角度的分析、解讀。我們會從身處的社會環境觀察及發現，希望能對本土攝影有較深入的研究，用有趣的方法及理論角度剖析，務求能進一步擴闊攝影的表現性、本質和意義，繼而能推動攝影作為文化創意教育。


一張照片如何能引起共鳴？其中一個重要的因素是要引起觀者的情緒，當中以表達人性弱點及慾望的內容最使人深刻，如戰爭照片、有關情愛（包括親情、友情及愛情）、性、死亡等等。第二期《咔》攝影文化誌主要是窺看有關人與人、人與物的微妙關係。

    一雙雙的情侶一同舞動相機，為了要好好記著相依生活的時候，他們都是二十多歲的年青人。作者大方地分享愛情或甚是私密生活。有關愛情，能怎樣地被分享？當中又彰顯了什麼樣的情感及生活？

    別忘了，人也是動物一種，反之亦然。
    人類或者太過習慣於利用言語溝通，特別是在大城市長大的現代人，都接受了以科技與制度主宰生活上的一切。我們發明了種種禮節、謊言、社交技巧讓人類社會運行妥當。當人類真的以為自己是萬物之靈、比其他物種優等，久而久之便會失去一種本來存在於所有物種之間的共通感。

    被遺忘了的物證──「全家福」家庭照
    從前拍家庭照，都是父母的主意。小時候，做子女的會問：「好端端，為甚麼要拍家庭照？」做父母的便會二話不說，著子女總之要穿好一點，等會兒便出門拍照去。其實為了家庭照，要花上不少工夫，而約會其他親人的環節會比打扮更費時鋪張，甚至要等不知多少個年頭才有難得的機會，拍幅齊齊整整的家庭照。任何在世的缺席都會令家庭照添上遺憾，而為了不遺憾，我們會想帶還在世的至親與自己一家人拍幅家庭照，紀念這一家曾經安穩完整的存在。

    KLACK is a local photographic magazine, which aims at revealing a new and unique culture of interpreting photographs. We wish to gather and unscramble distinctive images and high quality works from different walks of life. We are looking for an interactive way on discussing and analyzing photography, so as to widen the horizons of our readers in understanding its nature. In our ultimate goal, we wish to apply photography as a subject in the cultural creative education.

    We are certain that once we have a critical view on photography, we could better apply photography as a medium to interpret and comprehend images throughout our daily lives. We wish to provide an alternative for our readers to perceive the true meaning of photo-taking, enabling them to reflect on their lives in today’s world—a world which is overflowed with “vanishing” images.

    In this issue, KLACK becomes sentimental. In preparation for this issue, the editorial team held several meetings to discuss sentimental images, and worked towards coming up with some keywords and a clear definition of the theme. Finally, they shifted the focus to daily life, in attempt to find the intimate relationships and the extended sentiments from the images and photographic practices.
